Nude gel polish: the natural manicure that lasts

A nude gel polish matches the natural nail and evens it out: it hides marks and ridges and gives well-kept hands without a color that stands out. It is the most requested shade in the salon, every day as for weddings, and the base of a French manicure.

This collection brings together our 11 nude, beige and powdery pink gel polishes. One-coat coverage is rare on shades this light, which often need three coats to hide streaks.

Our nude shades: beige, powdery pink, taupe, peach

The beiges: 017 Silk, a light, silky nude, 075 Beige, soft and natural, 074 Vanilla, creamy, and 015 Taupe, more sophisticated. The powdery pinks: 083 Sugared Almonds, 079 Quartz and 013 Dew, delicate and luminous. The warm nudes: 181 Almond, 033 Honey and 186 Peach, which warm up deeper skin tones, and 077 Praline, a nude with chocolate undertones.

Choosing a nude for your skin tone

On fair skin, a rosy nude (083 Sugared Almonds, 013 Dew, 079 Quartz) avoids the dull look of a beige that is too yellow. On medium skin, 017 Silk, 075 Beige or 074 Vanilla stay natural. On olive or deep skin, choose a warmer, deeper nude such as 181 Almond, 033 Honey or 077 Praline, so the color extends the finger. To strengthen thin nails while staying natural, a tinted rubber base is an alternative.

Application, wear and removal

Every shade goes on like all our gel polishes: prepped nail, a thin coat of base coat cured under the lamp, one or two coats of color cured under a UV/LED lamp, then the top coat. 10 ml bottle, one-coat coverage, wear up to three weeks, soak-off removal with acetone. Every formula is HEMA-free and TPO-free. See also our red, pink, brown, blue, purple and green gel polishes, or the whole range in our gel nail polish collection.

Nude gel polish FAQ

Which nude gel polish works for a French manicure?

A rosy, slightly sheer nude such as 013 Dew or 083 Sugared Almonds, then white on the free edge. The nude evens out the nail without hiding the French line.

Does nude polish show imperfections?

A light shade with poor coverage shows ridges and brush marks. Our nudes cover in one coat, and a second thin coat is enough for a perfectly even finish.

How long does nude gel polish last?

Up to three weeks on a well-prepped nail, with a base coat and a top coat, every layer cured under the lamp. Regrowth, more than wear, decides when it is time for a new set.

Do I need a base coat and a top coat?

Yes. The base coat bonds the color to the nail and protects it from pigment, and the top coat seals the color and keeps the shine. Without them, the color chips quickly.

How do I remove nude gel polish?

File off the shine of the top coat, wrap each nail in acetone for ten to fifteen minutes, then lift the color with a cuticle pusher without scraping. Our gel polish removal guide walks through every step.
