Red gel polish: from cherry red to coral
Red is the most timeless nail color: a bright red for a classic manicure, a deep red for the evening, a coral for summer. As a gel polish, it keeps its shine for up to three weeks, without the chips that give away a regular red polish after a few days.
This collection brings together our 7 red gel polishes, all with one-coat coverage, which matters more on a shade this visible.
Our red shades: cherry, ruby, royal red, pomegranate, coral
028 Cherry is a deep, juicy cherry red, and 029 Candy Apple a bright, glossy true red. 030 Ruby and 032 Royal Red are the deep reds, elegant and timeless. 089 Pomegranate leans darker, close to burgundy, for fall and winter. 087 Tulip is a vivid, luminous red, and 031 Coral a sun-warmed orange red, the coral of summer manicures.
How to wear red: classic manicure, French tips, nail art
On short, rounded nails, a deep red gives a clean, chic manicure. On long almond nails, a bright red is still the reference for glamour. Red also works for nail art: red French tips, red and white, red glitter for the holidays, or a magnetic effect with our red cat eye 003 Ruby Dusk. For several reds at once, the red 5-bottle set is in our kits and sets.
Application, wear and removal
Every shade goes on like all our gel polishes: prepped nail, a thin coat of base coat cured under the lamp, one or two coats of color cured under a UV/LED lamp, then the top coat. 10 ml bottle, one-coat coverage, wear up to three weeks, soak-off removal with acetone. Every formula is HEMA-free and TPO-free. See also our pink, nude, brown, blue, purple and green gel polishes, or the whole range in our gel nail polish collection.
Red gel polish FAQ
Which red suits a timeless manicure?
032 Royal Red or 030 Ruby for a deep red that suits every skin tone, 028 Cherry or 029 Candy Apple for a brighter red. For summer, 031 Coral adds a lighter orange note.
Does red polish stain nails?
Red pigment can tint the nail if it touches it directly. A well-applied base coat sits between the nail and the color and prevents yellowing.
How long does red gel polish last?
Up to three weeks on a well-prepped nail, with a base coat and a top coat, every layer cured under the lamp. Regrowth, more than wear, decides when it is time for a new set.
How do I remove red gel polish?
File off the shine of the top coat, wrap each nail in acetone for ten to fifteen minutes, then lift the color with a cuticle pusher without scraping. Our gel polish removal guide walks through every step.
