How to do cat eye nails step by step

1. Push back the cuticles and gently remove the shine from the nail plate. Dehydrate with Prep Booster, then apply Acid-Free Primer for adhesion.
2. Apply a thin layer of base and cure it.
3. For more depth, apply one coat of 001 Black and cure it. For a lighter, sheerer cat eye, skip this step or use a nude or milky shade instead.
4. Apply a thin coat of cat eye gel polish and cure it.
5. Apply a second coat. Right away, hold the magnet just above the nail, without touching it, for a few seconds until the line appears.
6. Cure straight away so the particles stay where the magnet put them.
7. Seal with Diamond Top Coat and cure. No wiping is needed.

Tip: work one nail at a time. If you paint all five nails before using the magnet, the particles start to settle and the line looks weaker.
