Blue gel polish: from sky blue to sapphire
Blue runs from the softest pastel to the deepest navy: sky blue for spring, turquoise for summer, navy or sapphire for an elegant manicure all year round. As a gel polish, it keeps its intensity for up to three weeks.
This collection brings together our 6 blue gel polishes, all with one-coat coverage.
Our blue shades: sky, azure, lagoon, ocean, sapphire, royal blue
The light blues: 109 Sky, a soft, airy blue, and 091 Azure, bright as a cloudless sky. 092 Lagoon is a vivid turquoise, 110 Ocean a bright, deep blue. The dark blues: 113 Sapphire, deep and bold, and 112 Royal Blue, majestic, a chic alternative to navy.
How to wear blue: pastel, electric or navy
Pastel blues work as a full color or in delicate nail art, alone or with white. Bright blues like 110 Ocean give a very summery electric blue, on toes too. 113 Sapphire and 112 Royal Blue replace black for a softer evening manicure. For several blues at once, the blue 5-bottle set is in our kits and sets.
Application, wear and removal
Every shade goes on like all our gel polishes: prepped nail, a thin coat of base coat cured under the lamp, one or two coats of color cured under a UV/LED lamp, then the top coat. 10 ml bottle, one-coat coverage, wear up to three weeks, soak-off removal with acetone. Every formula is HEMA-free and TPO-free. See also our red, pink, nude, brown, purple and green gel polishes, or the whole range in our gel nail polish collection.
Blue gel polish FAQ
Which blue gel polish replaces navy?
113 Sapphire or 112 Royal Blue, two deep blues with the elegance of navy and more light.
Can you wear blue nails in winter?
Yes. Dark blues such as 113 Sapphire and 112 Royal Blue are fall and winter shades, while 109 Sky, 091 Azure and 092 Lagoon suit spring and summer.
How long does blue gel polish last?
Up to three weeks on a well-prepped nail, with a base coat and a top coat, every layer cured under the lamp. Regrowth, more than wear, decides when it is time for a new set.
How do I remove blue gel polish?
File off the shine of the top coat, wrap each nail in acetone for ten to fifteen minutes, then lift the color with a cuticle pusher without scraping. Our gel polish removal guide walks through every step.
