Purple gel polish: from lilac to deep purple

Purple runs from the most poetic pastel to the most intense violet: lilac and lavender for spring, deep purple and berry for fall. As a gel polish, it keeps its shine for up to three weeks.

This collection brings together our 5 purple gel polishes, all with one-coat coverage.

Our purple shades: lilac, lavender, violet, blueberry, pacific

022 Lilac is a poetic lavender shade, 107 Lavender a soft, luminous purple inspired by the fields of Provence. 106 Violet is a soft violet with floral undertones. 116 Blueberry brings an intense berry shade close to plum, and 108 Pacific a deep purple with soothing reflections.

How to wear purple: pastel, plum, nail art

022 Lilac and 107 Lavender work as a full color or in pastel nail art in spring, alone or with white. 116 Blueberry and 108 Pacific replace burgundy in fall for a more original manicure. A pastel purple on short nails stays discreet; a deep purple on long almond nails makes a statement.

Application, wear and removal

Every shade goes on like all our gel polishes: prepped nail, a thin coat of base coat cured under the lamp, one or two coats of color cured under a UV/LED lamp, then the top coat. 10 ml bottle, one-coat coverage, wear up to three weeks, soak-off removal with acetone. Every formula is HEMA-free and TPO-free. See also our red, pink, nude, brown, blue and green gel polishes, or the whole range in our gel nail polish collection.

Purple gel polish FAQ

Which purple gives a pastel look?

022 Lilac or 107 Lavender, two light, luminous purples. For a richer but still soft purple, 106 Violet.

Which purple suits fall?

116 Blueberry, a berry shade close to plum, or 108 Pacific, a deep purple. Both wear like a burgundy, with more originality.

How long does purple gel polish last?

Up to three weeks on a well-prepped nail, with a base coat and a top coat, every layer cured under the lamp. Regrowth, more than wear, decides when it is time for a new set.

Do I need a base coat and a top coat?

Yes. The base coat bonds the color to the nail and protects it from pigment, and the top coat seals the color and keeps the shine. Without them, the color chips quickly.

How do I remove purple gel polish?

File off the shine of the top coat, wrap each nail in acetone for ten to fifteen minutes, then lift the color with a cuticle pusher without scraping. Our gel polish removal guide walks through every step.
